Holiday Craft Class For Kids 2013 假期手工班

We are organizing paper craft classes for kids this coming school holiday.

Each class consists of 4 lessons X 2 hours, wit 5 kids maximum per class.
每班四堂课,每堂两小时,小班制（不超过5人）

[FP1- Quilling Fun with Board Strips 瓦楞纸卷纸乐]

*Suitable for aged 5 and above 适合5岁或以上的孩子

Create cute creatures such as penguin and mouse using board strips. Depending on progress of child, they will create 2-4 creatures during the lessons. Besides having fun, children gets to develop their motor skills & also explore the concept of dimension in paper construction.
利用瓦楞纸条制作趣味动物玩偶造型。依据孩子个人的学习进度，将在课堂上学习制造2-4个不同的玩偶造型。在欢乐的学习过程中，训练孩子的手动能力（手指及手掌小肌肉的运用）。同时，也让孩子探索如何利用纸来建构具立体感的物品。 
 

[FP2- Paper Creations 创意纸艺]

*Suitable for aged 7 and above 适合小学生

Introducing the art of paper rolling (quilling), paper cutting and bookbinding to children. Children gets to explore crafting using paper as medium, express and develop their creativity through their own paper creations.

Celebrating 2nd anniversary card-making contest

We turn 2 this month! To celebrate this memorable milestone, we are organising a card-making contest. Open to anyone with Malaysian mailing address.

To enter:

2. Create card
3. Email 2 photos to papernquill@gmail.com - one showing the card created, one with you holding the card.
 
Card requirement:
1. Any style, any structure, any technique/combinations but must include some quilling
2. Message of card is to congratulate us for turning 2, so keep it in mind when designing. Sentiments like 'happy 2nd birthday' or 'you are two' etc would be good.
 
The contest:
1. Close on 29th Sept, 12:00 midnight Malaysian time
2. Only one winner will be selected and announced on 1st Oct
3. Prize is as shown in photo (all US imported) worth more than RM80.
4. Judging will be done by us. Our decision is final.

Introducing New Products!

We have some new quilling products for April!

First, please welcome

Black, Grey and White Assortment! This is a new product from Lake City Craft. We are excited with this product as it makes the assortment series more 'complete'. The colours include black, white, ivory and shades of different grey.

Next we have

Yes, the variety pack and parchment variety pack, but as NARROW packs. Narrow means instead of the usual 1/8" strips, the width of these strips are 1/16". We currently don't stock narrow single colour paper strips, but if you need them, don't hesitate to pre-order from us!

We turn 1-year old - Part 2

It seems only yesterday that we went on air to talk about quilling, followed by our newspaper feature, then our first quilling beginner class, first greeting card sold, first public demo, first quilled frame sold... It has been an eventful and memorable year! And this month, we are 1-year old. Yes, we are still a baby and there's still many things to learn along the way. *wink wink*

We've never have discount sales in our shop, so we think it would be great to have it now in conjunction with our first anniversary, you know, as a form of celebration. So, ladies and gentleman...

Paper N Quill Crafts is 1-year old! - part 1

We are ONE!

Yes, Paper N Quill Crafts turns 1-year old this month of this year! To celebrate our 1st anniversary, we have prepared a little surprises here and there which will be released throughout the month of September. So stay tuned with us from time to time.

And for the first part of the surprises---introducing our new logo:

The logo is designed by a dear friend of us. It is made up of a pair of scissors formed by 'p', 'n', 'q' (PnQ is abbreviation of Paper N Quill) and the word 'crafts'. The design is clean and simple, which describes our craft style. We also have a new banner coming up soon, so stay tuned!

By the way, we have also added a new line of products to our store. We are now carrying stamping supplies from Technique Tuesday. The current products that we are selling can be viewed HERE. If there's any product of Technique Tuesday that you are interested with but not listed in our store, don't hesitate to contact us!

Ho ho ho! Paper N Quill is playing Santa by giving away Christmas present!

We will be giving out a Snowflakes Kit to one lucky winner! The imported kit comes with basic instructions for quilling and 8 patterns of snowflakes with standard paper strips! You can quill these snowflakes for ornaments to decorate your Christmas tree, or to use them on cards and gifts for family and friends. And for a little extra bonus, the winner is also entitled to buy a slotted tool or a needle tool from Paper N Quill with 10% discount. This giveaway is exclusive for Malaysian residence with Malaysian address only.
